The VENTURA TREND with VARIO-VOLANT valance has all you could possibly want: a modern design, many different equipment options and a convincing price-performance ratio make this folding arm awning a real classic. The VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT is designed for maximum sizes; the particularly solid side bearings demonstrate their supreme safety and stability. The extremely resilient folding arm system keeps the awning fabric taut – and you can choose between a visible front profile or one that is concealed by the fabric. The inclination of the awning arms can be adjusted between 0 and 90 degrees to provide a perfect sight and glare protection.

 

With the addition of a VARIO-VOLANT valance, the VENTURA TREND both ensures privacy and provides customised shade that can be ideally adjusted to the course of the sun – a must for west-facing balconies or terraces at sunset. In the standard version the fabric of the valance is operated manually using a crank gear. You have a choice of many combination options, thanks to different fabrics and drive types such as motorized, with radio control or as a manual retractable awning.

 

If the folding arm awning is to be mounted in an unprotected location, the awning fabric will be exposed to wind and weather. The patented adjustable hood profile, optionally available, can be adapted to the awning inclination. This ensures a better and more effective protection for the fabric, than a conventional fixed hood profile.

 

Particularly heavily loaded awning components, such as arm brackets or folding arms, are made from hardened aluminium. Our special manufacturing process creates more resistant awning components and also improves the safety and the durability of the parts. LEINER LOUNGE colours for awningsThe VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT is available in a maximum width of 650 cm and a maximum projection of 400 cm. In the standard version an electric motor is included.

 

The VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT comes in the standard colours white (RAL 9010), LEINER LOUNGE grey or LEINER LOUNGE dark grey or, for an additional charge, in one of the other 16 LEINER LOUNGE fine structured finishes. We can also supply them in any preferred RAL colour for an additional charge.

Awning VENTURA TREND with a wind protect systemWind Protect System

The Wind Protect System WPS is an innovation of LEINER and was originally developed for the more stringent requirements of awnings for cafés and restaurants. The Wind Protect System WPS is now also available for the VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT: fixable supports on the front profile significantly enhance the wind stability of your awning. Depending on the size of the awning, the WPS offers protection from winds up to wind strength 8 – even in the event of sudden gusts of wind. The VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT can be fitted with a hood profile. You can choose between a classic fixed or adjustable patented hood profile. The adjustable hood profile can be used for single systems and adjusted to the corresponding awning inclination to provide optimum protection.

In the standard version a radio-controlled motor is available as an optional extra instead of the electric motor, allowing the awning to be extended and retracted conveniently by remote control. On request, the VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT can also be operated manually with a crank (lower price). The VARIO-VOLANT valance can be conveniently retracted and extended using a crank. If the awning is fitted with a radio-controlled motor, the valance can also be fitted with such a motor – for maximum convenience!

The SAFETY MOTION emergency manual drive is the last-resort concept for your awning – if the radio-controlled motor does not work, the VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT can be closed manually by crank with the emergency manual drive.

The radio-controlled motor drive variant can also be supplemented with a 3D sensor. Attached to the front profile, the sensor responds to the intensity of the movement of the awning, retracting it automatically if the wind gets too strong. Please note, however, that an electronic control will not protect your awning from sudden strong gusts of wind.

 

Wind and weather control for awning VENTURA TRENDControl

Fully automated controls complement the electric drive and offer additional comfort and safety as sun and wind monitors, automatically extending or retracting your awning according to the sunlight or wind strength, even when you are not at home. Please note, however, that an electronic control will not protect your awning from sudden strong gusts of wind. An alternative is the manual Wind Protect System WPS. This optional extra variant stabilises your awning and also absorbs the sudden loads produced by gusts.

A heater that can be easily mounted on the wall or bracket tube delivers pleasant warmth under your awning, such as in the evening or on cool autumn days (also remote operated on request).

The CALYPSO ROLL side awning protects against both sunlight from the side and inquisitive glances – making it the perfect complement to the VENTURA TREND VARIO-VOLANT for your terrace or balcony. The side awning protects also against light wind.

    The Wind Protect System WPS is an innovation of LEINER and was originally developed for the more stringent requirements of awnings for the gastronomy. Fixable supports on the front profile significantly enhance the wind stability of your awning. Depending on the size of the awning, the WPS offers protection from winds of up to wind strength 8, even in the event of sudden gusts of wind.

    The SAFETY MOTION emergency manual drive is the contingency plan for your awning. If the radio-controlled motor does not work, the awning can be closed manually by crank with the emergency manual drive.

  • Energy saving

    Awnings help to save energy. The timely extension of awnings protects rooms from overheating. Especially in air-conditioned room, the cooling output of your AC can be reduced significantly.

  • Hardened aluminium

    This is a special aluminium alloy that is given additional hardness through a subsequent thermal process. The material guarantees long life and resistance and meets the highest safety requirements. The special LEINER manufacturing process doubles the resistance and results in a durable strength of up to 350 N/mm². Thanks to the hardened aluminium, even awnings with a projection of 4 metres and on the other hand heavier profiles with an additional VARIO-VOLANT valance can be realized.

  • Open folding arm awning

    Open folding arm awnings do not have profiles that protect the awning fabric and mechanism from the wind, weather and dust. They are therefore especially suitable for mounting under balcony ceilings or eaves. However, a rain hood is available as an optional extra (see also the lexicon entry for rain hood).
