The WGB 350 and WGB 350 SZ sunroom shades – heat protection for large roofs
Glass structures tend to become extremely hot in the summer. The WGB 350 and 350 SZ sunroom awnings allow you to enjoy a pleasant climate even in the height of summer, which means you don't have to use energy-intensive cooling systems.
The WGB 350 SZ sunroom awning is especially recommended for particularly windy areas. The SZ technology keeps the sides of the fabric in the guide rails along the whole length. This fabric guidance makes the awning particularly resilient and wind-stable, also eliminating light gaps between the fabric and the guide rails.
Single systems: Both the WGB 350 and the WGB 350 SZ are available with a width of 6 m and a projection of up to 5 m.
Coupled systems: The WGB 350 can be realised as a coupled system with a width of up to 10 m, beyond that as a row system.
Row systems: The WGB 350 SZ sunroom awning can be used as a row system. In a row, each individual WGB 350 SZ awning has its own motor and a maximum width of 6 m. Also 3-field-installations in a row and up to 18 meters can be realized.
Both the WGB 350 and the WGB 350 SZ are configured with an electric motor as standard.
The WGB 350 as well as the WGB 350 SZ can be ordered in the standard colours traffic white (RAL 9016), LEINER LOUNGE dark grey, grey and anthracite grey. Alternatively, you can choose between 15 other LEINER LOUNGE fine textured finishes for no additional charge. We can also supply them in any RAL colour for an additional charge – ask your specialist partner for advice.

Drive
A radio-controlled motor is available instead of an electric motor in the standard version. Thanks to Somfy io wireless technology, extending and retracting does not only work via remote control. Your smartphone can also be used for control. Operation via devices such as Alexa or Homekit is possible as well. The io wireless system allows your WGB 350 or WGB 350 SZ to be integrated into your smart home.
Control
Fully automated controls complement the electric drive and offer additional comfort and safety as sun and wind monitors, automatically extending or retracting your sunroom shade according to the sunlight or wind strength, even when you are not at home. Please note, however, that an electronic control will not protect your sunroom shade from sudden strong gusts of wind.
Fabric support roller and wire
It is a law of physics that the larger the fabric, the more it will sag. To counteract this, you can choose between a fabric support roller of diameter 6 cm or a fabric support wire.
