AREA free for the bioclimatic terrace glass system
The AREA free makes it easy to ventilate the glass terrace roof. Mounted between the rafters of the glass roof, the AREA free is operated via a Smart Home Ready and radio-controlled motor.
Opened, the AREA free generates a bioclimatic air circulation process, which means the trapped warm air can escape in the natural way like known from a louvered roof. The AREA free closes absolutely rain-tight. The glass sliding roof can be used with both the AREA exclusiv 150 and the AREA classic 150. It can also be retrofitted to any AREA 150 terrace roof.
The AREA free combines the transparency of a glass roof with the benefits of the bioclimatic effect.
You can obtain the AREA free with no additional charge in the AREA standard colours LEINER LOUNGE dark grey, LEINER LOUNGE grey, LEINER LOUNGE anthracite grey or traffic white (RAL 9016). For an additional charge we will produce the AREA free in one of the other 15 LEINER LOUNGE fine textured finishes or any desired RAL colour.
Drive
The AREA free is fitted with an io radio-controlled motor as standard, making it Smart Home Ready. It is controlled using a handset.
Smart Home Ready means it can also be operated conveniently by smartphone or tablet.
A wired electric motor is available as an option.
Insect screen
This is a quality product with a robust and highly transparent screen (gauze) made by the German manufacturer Neher.
The frame is optionally available in the colour of the AREA free or in EV1 (natural anodised).
The AREA free can be integrated into the glass roof with 150 mm rafters in a variety of mounting situations:
- Mounting at the highest point with a cross-clip
- Mounting at the highest point with a transverse silicone profile
- Mounting in the field, so not at the highest point
The AREA free is glazed with VSG 10 laminated safety glass.
