LEINER GmbH

Originally founded as a Swabian metalworking business in 1839, LEINER GmbH is now a successful medium-sized enterprise which has specialised in the production of awnings and shading systems for the German and international market since 1975.

We combine more than 180 years of expertise in metalwork with the constant development and refinement of our products and are open-minded towards the changing times. We are based in Germany as a production location. With a workforce of nearly 120 people, we manufacture only in Horgau and Dinkelscherben in Bavaria, where we have almost 17,000 square metres of space for global sales and distribution. Our team consists of experts with many years of know-how. We meet customer wishes and requirements with great flexibility and innovative capacity.

Fast and reliable, we guarantee short delivery times even in the high season. We have our own specialist logistics and transport system to ensure that your awning is delivered in perfect undamaged condition.

Our awnings and shade systems are characterised above all by the very highest quality and functionality as well as long life. Combined with a large number of attractive awning fabric designs, which can also be replaced at a later date, our awnings become products for life.

In the SUNRAIN awnings, we have a patented product system in our range that offers both private users and the gastronomy new and flexible options for an integrated textile outdoor concept delivering protection from the sun, wind and rain.

In 2016 we also expanded our product range with the AREA terrace glass system. The AREA terrace glass system is your transparent outdoor living space. In our factory in Dinkelscherben, we produce the two versions AREA classic and AREA exclusiv with the highest quality standards.

Another milestone in our history was the establishment of our subsidiary, LEINER Oberflächentechnik GmbH. On the same property where we produce our AREA, we have raised our halls of LEINER Oberflächentechnik GmbH. New and highest level of powder coating in combination with the proximity of the location allow us short delivery times of coated parts to the best quality standards. 

LEINER awning and shade systems are available exclusively through your specialist partners. They will recommend the right system for your building from our broad product range, tailor it to your individual requirements and provide expert advice on site. Mounting by experienced partners also guarantees long-term safety as well as trouble-free operation of your awning.
