The ARCO SD and CANTO SD window awnings – with wire guidance
The ARCO – with a semicircular cassette – and CANTO – with a square cassette – window awnings were developed as flexible modular systems that are available in a wide range of sizes. They are enabling an efficient sun protection for almost all windows. The SD variant is a vertical awning with wire guidance; a spring system (spring cup) keeps the wire permanently tensioned. The ARCO SD and CANTO SD are particularly easy to mount. The drop profile can be optionally covered by the fabric or visible.
The ARCO SD and CANTO SD are available as a single system with the following maximum widths:
100 SD – maximum 400 cm
120 SD – maximum 500 cm
150 SD – maximum 600 cm
The possible widths and maximum heights depend on the chosen awning fabric, as the properties of the various materials result in different maximum dimensions.
The ARCO SD and CANTO SD can also be supplied as a multi-field awning with a maximum width of 600 cm in an awning cassette. Multiple fields of differing widths and heights can be integrated as desired.
In the standard version an electric motor is included. A radio-controlled motor is available as an optional extra, allowing the awning to be extended and retracted conveniently by remote control. The awning can also be supplied with a crank drive on request.
The ARCO SD and CANTO SD come in the standard colours traffic white (RAL 9016) or white aluminium (RAL 9006), or alternatively in one of the 18 LEINER LOUNGE fine structured finishes at an additional charge. We can also supply them in any preferred RAL colour for an additional charge – ask your specialist partner for advice.

Awning fabric with transparent PVC window
For an additional charge you can get an awning fabric with a transparent PVC window – and there is a wide range of window versions to choose from.
Important user information for awnings with PVC windows: Please note, due to the different material properties it is inevitable that fabrics with PVC windows will form creases. If the PVC window material is used at temperatures around the freezing point, it will become harder, thereby changing the winding behaviour. We therefore recommend not to use the awning, at temperatures of 0° or below.
