The SUNRAIN VARIO-VOLANT – the awning for sun and rain
The SUNRAIN with VARIO-VOLANT valance combines all the advantages of a folding arm awning with LEINER's patented SUNRAIN technology, making it the perfect solution for sun and rain because it provides shade and can remain extended when it is raining. You can stay outside, regardless of the weather conditions – the waterproof awning fabric allows rain to run off in a controlled manner from an incline of just 5 degrees (7.5 degrees for coupled systems).
The standard features include a waterproof awning fabric made of high-performance PVC that is easy to print on for advertising purposes. Movably mounted on the sturdy folding arms, two purlins support the fabric awning to counteract any sagging. Kept taut, the fabric allows rainwater to drain off – from an inclination of just 5 degrees (7.5 degrees with coupled systems). Despite the low mounting height, that means there is always sufficient space underneath the awning. The front profile also has an integrated rain gutter.
With the addition of a VARIO-VOLANT valance, the SUNRAIN both ensures privacy and provides customised shade that can be ideally adjusted to the course of the sun – a must for west-facing balconies or terraces at sunsets. Thanks to our wide range of fabrics, there are a lot of combination possibilities.
Particularly heavily loaded awning components, such as arm brackets or folding-arm parts, are made from hardened aluminium. Our special manufacturing process not only makes the awning components more resistant, but also enhances the safety and long life of our awnings.
